About us: 
GF Casting Solutions has been operating the foundry with Europe's largest mold box for machine-molded iron castings since 1995. Today, around 255 employees produce large and heavy castings with a production capacity of 60,000 tons per year. We develop solutions for off-highway vehicles such as construction machinery, agricultural and forestry machinery, commercial vehicles (buses, trucks), the energy sector (wind turbines and solar parks), and industrial applications. 
Tasks: 
Ensuring the availability of systems and guaranteeing IT security in accordance with the Group IT strategy. Administration of Windows clients and local servers. Support of the CISCO network components. Providing IT helpdesk support in the company and supporting users. Support and configuration of interfaces. Identification, evaluation and elimination of risks in the IT area. Commissioning and coordinating external IT service providers. Budget planning and cost control, as well as collaboration in the procurement of IT services and components. Collaboration and management of IT projects at various locations. 
Profile: 
Degree in business informatics (or similar training with appropriate further training). Several years of professional experience in IT within a manufacturing industrial environment. Basic understanding of automation (PLC, MES, OPC, etc.). Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, design, LAN, WLAN, etc.). Fundamental understanding of data protection and IT security. Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure hardware components. Confident handling of common Microsoft Office applications. Ideally, basic knowledge of RDBMS, programming and scripting. Commitment, reliability, ability to work in a team, and communication skills. Independent and structured way of working, initiative and willingness to undergo continuous further training. Very good knowledge of English. 
We offer: 
We offer remuneration in accordance with the collective agreement. You will receive 30 days of vacation per year. The regular working week is 38 hours. You have the option of leasing a job bike, whereby we subsidize 20% of the leasing amount. You can eat in our canteen. Our location is easily accessible by public transport.
